As I arrived at the airport in the morning, I saw this airplane. I could barely bring myself to ask the fueller about it, for fear that it would turn out to belong to some northern resource company with a stylized flame logo. But no, it's what I thought it was. What did I think it was, and who knows the story behind it?
You may name the aerodrome, too, if you're feeling sharp and sleuthy.

Easy, it's a tlhIngan CJ1 Was it at Calgary? I don't know anymore that that... I don't think Michael Dorn ever owned a Citation, last I heard he had a T-33 though. Anyone know the backstory?
This one kicked my Google-Fu right in the butt. As Sarah says (beat me to it) - That's a CJ1 that you might have seen in Calgary or its home base in Red Deer. I think it's "owned" by David Will who is the CEO of Gamehost which in turn owns a bunch of Casinos in AB. As for why the Klingon insignia... Must be a Trek fan?
you wouldn't happen to know someone who can speak Klingon, would you? ;)

I know someone who can speak Klingon. Wonder if it's the same person
Hmmm... They appear to have a hanger at Red Deer Regional Airport, 'tween Edmonton and Calgary.
Too late on the left coast for me to be crafty, intelligent, or dutiful - let alone stealthy! (too few eei, anyway :-)
Central Valley...
I know everything, but I cheat.
All wrong. It's a Bird-Of-Prey, merely disguised as a CJ1, but as the Federation will require all time traveling non-Federation vessels operating in Federation space to be marked, that's the give away. You might have noticed the Federation secret service timeline restoration agents hanging around the terminal keeping an eye on them - they are often conspicuous by their accents (the Federation hires a lot of Han Chinese).
I wonder what they are doing here in the 21st century backwoods?
Great answer, DB! I like it way better than my other consensual reality guess.
If the symbol would have five thingies sticking out instead of three, it would definiteley be STAR AIRLINE, the airline owned by Spongebob's best friend Patrick Star. The airport would of course be KBBM (Bikini Bottom International), mostly charter, but a bi-weekly scheduled service to Rock Bottom. In-flight meals are Crab Burgers. Spongebob makes them and The Krusty Krab is the catering company.
Spongebob forever!
The fueller told me that the aircraft had once belonged to Michael Dorn, the actor who played Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, but I don't have a way of confirming that. Perhaps one of your Klingon-speaking friends can ask him.
Hmm. Here's a pretty inclusive interview with Mr. Dorn.
He's owned a Trinidad TB-20, a C-310, C-340, a CASA jet (whatever that is HA-200?), T-33, Mu-2, F-86 Sabre, Sabreliner bizjet, and currently has stepped down to a Baron B55. Lucky guy. But no Citation in the list.
I'll have to contact David Will and find out if he knows.
