It's Not Missing
It's not missing, I just don't want to go up there after it. It must have tough feet and thick fur, as it looks perfectly happy up there. It's not even that useful a perch, because surely that's too far to leap after prey. Ah well, Happy Caturday.
When I was young and single I had a cat that would pace across the curtain rods above my head if I was sitting on my couch with a guy. That meant he wasn't right. I married the one she jumped down and sat in his lap. Cats are wise.

Clearly a surveying perch, not a hunting perch.

I love my cat. Her name is Biscuit. Even though she's princess, she's mine!
