Airwothiness

Zenflyer's comment on mandated placards in view of the passenger reminds me that the official warning on Lite Flyer's dashboard is missing an R.

A web search for "airwothiness" yields a surprising number of official sites, www.tc.gc.ca among them.

Is it possible that the typo was used during the certification process and therefore the placard is now required to have it spelled that way?
