The first heavy snowfall of winter always reminds me of my favorite Wallace Stevens poem.
It was evening all afternoon.
It was snowing
And it was going to snow.
The blackbird sat
In the cedar-limbs.

sounds like you were far too busy in the hot tub and using the waterslide to blog today!!!!

I guess Aviatrix spent this day to write the long blog post about yesterday... in addition to having fun on the waterslide. The short post must indicate a very busy day, that we'll read about tomorrow!

I usually read your blog and I read your profile but I still have a big doubt: What kind of job do you have?
I understand you want your name and company name to remain undisclosed... but sometimes when I read your posts, it seems like your job is to get a plane, fly around the area and land in the same airport.... Sometimes it just seems like you just spend the day going to buy things for the plane.... I just don't get it. Could you explain me a bit more what's your job about???
If you don't want, I'll understand :)
Greetings from Barcelona, Spain.

Mysterious, isn't it, Anonymous from Barcelona?
"Sometimes it just seems like you just spend the day going to buy things for the plane."
I think you just figured out what my job is about! I should add that sentence to my profile.
At other times I spend the whole day listening to the television, refreshing the weather forecast and watching the snow fall outside. You're all making me giggle as you speculate I was doing something important. Nope. I just took the day off. Entirely. I was planning on building a snowplane to photograph for you all, but it was kind of dark what with the north and all the snow so I made a snowball and threw it at a fence and called it a day.

Unless the temperature is within a few degrees of melting point, snow won't stick together under hand pressure so building a snow anything is... difficult.
If you succeed, post pics.

I believe that Aviatrix's interesting job has something to do with Google Earth or assigning GPS positions to earth's objects. Just sayin'! Isn't she a wonderful writer?

Yaaaay! Snow day! I used to love those as a kid...

Ironically, this blog was created on a snow day. I think my original blogger login ID was "snowday."
