Second Hint

In response to your group effort in producing a stunning list of Canadian airports that align ith theIr identifiers, I present hint #2. This will completely give it away, but may require a moment's thought or teach you something you didn't know about Canada. The cab company that picks me up from the airport has a different telephone area code from the hotel it will take me to. PleasE forgive weird formatting and weird typos. I'm writing this on an imperfectly calibrated PDA.

    I was going to say Prince Rupert heading to a location in Alaska--but that would be Ketchikan and I don't think you can drive from Prince Rupert to Ketchikan.

    Heh, I've got to go confirm since I don't know the locator codes for the smaller locations all that well.

    Having said that, in Alberta, as of the new 10-digit dialling policy, my next door neighbour can have a different area code than me. It's rare so far, but not impossible.

    If I'm correct on the location, my its one of the most mis-pronounced municipalities on the prairies...

    I agree with dph: It's a border town. In fact, I bet it's a single town straddling two provinces. The airport is in one province and the taxi co is based in the other, hence the two area codes. If I'm right, the airport has 1 paved rwy, 08/26.
