Of course pilot incapacitation is a fairly improbable event, but as was just demonstrated, not outside the realm of possibility. Crew Resource Management ideas only developed in trail of such airline disasters as Tenariffe, where it was apparent that a more assertive First Officer, could well have prevented the accident.grantnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000144.post-66857187845061337872013-02-04T05:58:09.871+00:002013-02-04T05:58:09.871+00:00Going off on the tangent of your last section ther...Going off on the tangent of your last section there, with the signage error, one of my favorite stories of modern malfunction is here:

https://www.google.com/search?q=translate+server+error

So glad that we are getting occasional posts from you again!Chris C.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10000144.post-62902830561402405022013-02-04T04:16:16.004+00:002013-02-04T04:16:16.004+00:00I sometimes use the same designations in maintenan...I sometimes use the same designations in maintenance writeups, e.g. "Copilot shoulder belt inertial reel sticks." Suddenly that cultural thing at least started to make some sense in terms of derivation.john bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13784096180652522939noreply@blogger.com
