Congratulations and Jealousy
I was working at my second commercial job when she got her first. She has just been hired by Air Canada. So it's possible, but I haven't done it. I'm beginning to doubt I ever will.
I'll skip the "don't give up" / "pursue your dream" platitudes -- you already know those, or you would have quit a while ago.
Just remember that it only has to work out for you once, and there are no prizes for being first (well, except seniority, and who knows if the seniority system will still be around in 5-10 years?).
Time to buy a couple of spare toner cartidges for a new round of resume printing. Best of luck.
